Processing Times

Print Reproductions

All prints are made-to-order.
• Processing time: 7–14 business days
• Prints ship directly from our professional fine-art print partner for the highest quality result

Original Paintings

Originals require additional handling, packaging, and insurance.
• Processing time: 5–10 business days
• Oversized or framed originals may require extra time

Commissioned Art

Shipping timelines will be discussed during your commission process.
• Standard range: 6–12 weeks for creation
• Shipping is scheduled once the final balance is paid

If an item requires extended preparation time (such as special crating, custom framing, or oversized delivery), it will be noted on the product page and communicated directly to you.

Shipping Rates & Locations

United States Shipping

We currently ship throughout the United States.
• Free shipping on all original paintings within the USA
• Print shipping is calculated at checkout
• Oversized or framed originals may incur an additional delivery fee for special handling
• Local hand-delivery is available for select Miami-Dade County orders (oversized originals only)

International Shipping

At this time, international shipping is not automatically available through the website.
If you are located outside the U.S., please email miriam@rarevelvetart.com for a custom quote.

Local Delivery (Miami-Dade County Only)

For large original paintings or framed pieces, local white-glove delivery may be arranged.
If available, this option will be offered during checkout or after contacting me directly.

Packaging

Every artwork is packaged with professional-grade materials:

• Prints ship flat or rolled, depending on size
• Originals are wrapped, padded, and boxed or crated for protection
• High-value pieces are fully insured
• Framed works receive additional corner and glass protection

We take the utmost care to ensure your artwork arrives safely.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number, carrier details, and estimated delivery window.

Please note that shipping carriers may experience delays beyond our control, especially during holidays or peak seasons.

Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact me within 48 hours at miriam@rarevelvetart.com with:
• Your order number
• Photos of the item
• Photos of the packaging (inside and outside)

This allows me to file a claim with the carrier or print partner and send a replacement or issue a refund when applicable.

If an order is marked “delivered” but you cannot locate it, please notify us within 3 days so we may assist you in investigating with the carrier.

Special Notes for Original and Large Artwork

• Some original paintings require special shipping and handling, including crating or white-glove delivery
• These costs may be billed separately if not calculated at checkout
• Any special instructions or fees will be discussed with you before the artwork ships

Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping information at checkout.
Miriam Soberanes Art is not responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
