I’m Miriam Soberanes,
a Miami-based Abstract Artist,
born in Mexico City,
product of Cuban & Mexican parents.
I think of my studio as my North Star where I turn intuition + color into evolving lessons on canvas. Each painting is a story, a reflection, and an invitation to make it part of your own.
Traveling and populating the pages of my passport with as many stamps as possible is one of my most important sources of inspiration.
I truly enjoy capturing striking and high-contrasting colors, places, textures and spaces wherever I go, with my camera and with my emotional memory, and visually interpret them through my own lens onto paintings that take me back to those beautiful experiences.
My art is my mirror, my confidant and my mentor. When you experience it, you’re stepping into my journey, my lessons, and transformations.
Each piece carries a story, it’s both, me speaking and me listening, creating a feeling layered with meaning open to your own interpretation and when you bring it into your space, it becomes part of your story too.
